Some Thoughts from the Editor
Soccer coaching seems simple, but we all know that it is not. With the young in particular, a bad, or, ill-prepared coach can destroy an individual's confidence and motivation, not to say his desire to play soccer at all! And, of course, this is reflected in over-all team performance as well. On the other hand, a good coach can motivate and inspire a player -- and the team -- to the very highest level.
It does not matter if you are just starting out, or, if you are an experienced coach, you have to be on top of your game all the time. And, as well as the more established coaching techniques and methods, you must constantly keep up with the new ideas that are being continually developed and practised all over the world. You must never stand still, your aim should be "constant improvement".
We are sure you will find plenty of great ideas here that you can use to inspire your players to improve their, and the team's, performance.
